San Zaw – My Story
I’ve always been someone who enjoys working with numbers. That interest led me to
earn my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and begin my career in corporate finance at
Unilever. Originally from Myanmar, I’ve had the opportunity to study in the UK,
Singapore, and most recently Canada, where I completed my Master’s in Finance.
Along the way, I experienced different cultures and perspectives, but it was Vancouver’s
beautiful scenery and welcoming community that made me decide to call it home.
Although I enjoyed the analytical side of finance, I realized I wanted to be in a role
where I could see the impact of my work on people. That’s what drew me to wealth
management. As a Service Associate, I enjoy helping create a smooth and positive
experience for our clients. Whether it’s supporting our advisors, coordinating client
requests, or making sure every detail is taken care of, I take pride in knowing that the
work I do helps clients feel supported and well cared for.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me browsing the library for my next thriller novel.
During the summer, I love exploring Vancouver’s outdoors, whether it’s hiking a new trail
or riding my bike through the city’s parks, trails, and waterfront.
