Jeff’s thirty-year background as a Chief Financial Officer, partner in a chartered accounting firm, and advisor to family businesses gives him a unique cross-over skill set between personal and business finance in both the financial planning and tax worlds.
Working as CFO with a team that tripled a family business’ sales, Jeff blends that experience with financial principles to create a solid, tax-efficient business structure that benefits both the family’s financial picture and the family business’ bottom line. He also helps clients prepare their businesses for eventual hand-off to family successors or outside purchasers.
Jeff’s community service also adds to his experience in leadership, governance, fundraising, and goal-setting. He is a co-founder and past chairperson of the award-winning Southridge School, and is now president of SurreyCares, a community foundation that supports local charities in Surrey.
